What is God's Mission for us today? How is it challenged by problems and/or informed by history? Today, the formation of ‘witnessing communities’ with Dr. Darrell Guder.

Dr. Guder is the emeritus professor of missional and ecumenical theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. From 1976 to 1985 he served in Young Life as the Director of the Institute of Youth Ministries, providing theological education for Young Life staff. Dr. Guder helped to set a theological precedent that Young Life continues to strive for today.

He has participated in diverse ways in the missional church initiative; he was the editor of the volume Missional Church: A Vision for the Sending of the Church in North America; and the author of The Continuing Conversion of the Church and Called to Witness: Doing Missional Theology.

Whether speaking about the intentional development of people, building a thriving ministry, or the success of Denver's ELDI (Emerging Leaders Development Initiative), Art Williams (Multi-Ethnic Coordinator for the NW Division) believes that clarity is king. Today, we sit down to discuss these items, and other lessons he's learned in 15 years of ministry with Young Life.

Special thanks to Irene Reza and Ashley Davenport, ELDI grads and world-changers who make guest appearances in this episode!
